Inspiration Comes in Many Flavors

Inspiration, I believe, comes from the most ordinary of places. There was a long time where my kinkiest ideas came from my drive into work. I would joke with Denise that my car and I would have these long conversations about what our characters should do next and to her credit, she never batted an eye at it.
After the car stopped talking to me, I found inspiration in the shower. Water is a great stimulus. (oh get your mind out of the gutter… or, on second thought…)
And then there’s the entire webs. And godbless them, really. More kink and wild and crazy stuff than you can shake a stick at. One of my favorite places on the web is a sex shop called MEO. And for those of you scrambling over to Google, it’s meo-team.com.
MEO seems to have the most interesting collection of sex toys out there. From the almost vanilla to the hard core, there’s something there for everyone. And the model pictures are a blessing for someone who is stuck with a scene and needs to find that little spark to get past the “I don’t know what to do next!” hump. I know I’ve used some of the pictures more than once. I might have actually printed one out to help with a particularly interesting scene. Good times, good times.
There are toys on that site that we’ve placed on a “must use” list. We often don’t know where and to or on whom, but we know, at sometime, someplace in one of our many universes, one of these toys will be used on one of our characters.
And I like to think our characters prefer it that way.
