Live and in person at Yaoi Con 2007

I’m currently sitting in a hotel room down in San Mateo California where the 2007 Yaoi Con event is taking place this year.
This will be the 2nd time I’ve gone to the event, and it’s even more outrageous than I remember it being. Seems like there are more costumes as well. Really well done costumes too. Maybe one of these days I’ll get brave enough to put together a costume and roam the hallways as my favorite character from anime or manga. 
One of the greatest things about these types of con’s is that alternative is the norm. Boy’s dressed as girls, girls dressed as boys. Touching, for the most part, is not only encouraged, but photographed. And thankfully none of that comes off as creepy. Because it could. Trust me.
Just a couple of pictures. I got here late in the day and am half asleep from the plane ride.
Welcome to Yaoi Land, where all of the boys are pretty and in love.
At first glance one would think this was just an ordinary gathering of people who wear interesting clothes.
But once you start looking closer…
You start to see the true nature of the people here.
