Dear Dashi: Who Says Three’s A Crowd?

Posted by deardashi under: Dear Dashi .

Hi, I’m Dashi! The girls have finally caved and given me my own login. Of course, I wanted my own blog, but I’ll just have to work them up to that. Today we have a letter from Alysha. She writes:

Dearest, most gorgeous Dashi,

I have two men in my life and I’d like to ahem, tempt them to get to know one another much better. Any advice for introducing them to the idea and training them both to keep us all happy? Well, to keep me happy anyway. Perhaps a personal training session?

PS. If you wish to bring your master for a practical demonstration, please, please, please do.

Dear Alysha,

What a sexy name. Almost as sexy as mine!

You sound like a woman chock full of what my master calls feminine wiles. Of course, he does not always sound very happy when he uses the word…but “wiles” seems like such a great word, I’m sure he’ll come around to it before too long.

You bring up a very interesting question and I have been pondering it all day. I even put off my afternoon nap to think about it!

Master says naps are important for someone like me. Blah blah calming effect or something like that. Don’t tell him I said so, but sometimes he uses too many words. I just like having a nap! Oh, and making sure Master is happy with me. I really, really LIKE it when he’s happy with me.

As to the personal training, I would be more than happy to avail myself to you and your friends. I am very much in demand these days. However, Master can get kind of funny when I touch other people. He gets all grumbly and grouchy and his forehead does this funny scrunching thing right between his eyebrows. I tell him he mustn’t do that. What if his face freezes that way for good!

But anyway, back to your question.

I’ve found water can be very helpful for bringing people together. Once when Master had Ciaran over for a playdate when Ciaran was still all nervous and shy, we all took a bath together! Ciaran was a lot more fun after that and didn’t seem to mind when I snuggled up behind him in bed. Gosh he’s a good snuggler. Master is very smart about these things.

If the water does not work, then perhaps you can all take a nap together! Hands have been known to wander!

Which brings us to the bed. Beds are very important. Make sure you have one big enough for three. You want to be very comfortable.

Or you could be like Malik and lock them into a room together and tell them they aren’t coming out until someone has gotten well and truly fu–oh, I think I hear Master calling. I have to go now.

Thank you for your question! And I hope it helps!

Yours,
The Dearest, most gorgeous Dashi
