Review for My Brother’s Keeper

We had a fantastic review written up for us by Alternative-Reads! Our thanks go to WitchGiggles for the review!

I must say that this was for me a difficult book to review, but probably not for the reasons most people might think. My Brother’s Keeper deals with two very sensitive subjects: slavery and twincest. The slavery can be placed in context with the world in which the tale is told, but the twincest is an issue harder to place in any context, however I found myself unable to condemn any part of it.

Denise Kendrick and R.D.Solange manage to accomplish this feat by placing less emphasis on that aspect of their relationship and more on the twins simply surviving the situation in which they found themselves; that of staying alive. The sex scenes are still incredibly erotic, giving mental visualizations which made me grin like a loon. I found this an intriguing story with enough twists and turns to keep my eyes glued to the pages, while trying to figure ways to help the boys escape the clutches of an evil maniac. It is a superb read. So good reading and great fun to all of you.
