Excerpt: Ash, Trey and the Aether Sprite

Caution: This book contains m/m/m, girls who have borrowed boy parts and absolutely no kissing between siblings.
Ash is a seeker; he leaves his body to find lost items and makes a pretty decent living from it. Trey is his minder; he takes care of Ash, and together they’re about as in love as two people can be.
And then along comes Violet.
As an aether sprite ghosting around the physical world, Violet has had plenty of time to decide on what she likes and doesn’t like. And she likes Trey. A lot.
When she shows up on their doorstep sporting a borrowed body, complete with a brand new penis she’s not sure how to use, Ash and Trey duck for cover–until Violet makes them an offer they can’t refuse. Because really, what’s a little harmless sex between friends?
EXCERPT:
When he returned with the goodies, she was awake and disheveled in the previous day’s clothes. There was no sign of Ash. “Ok, listen up,” he said, sitting on the rickety sun table in front of the sofa. He handed her a cup. “You want me. And I want the stuff you offered to Ash.”
She took the drink, but looked doubtful. “Ash said it was ok?”
“He will.”
“Hmm.”
Trey narrowed his eyes. “You either want it or you don’t.”
“Of course I want it.”
“Ok, here’s how it works.” He took a sip, then set his latte deluxe down. “Ash first. Then the collar. Then me.”
Her eyes moved in tune with her fingertip, side to side, as she followed the progression in her mind. “Ash first…”
“That’s non-negotiable.”
“Then the collar.”
“Also, non-negotiable.”
The finger pointed at his chest. “Then you.”
“Exactly.”
“I’m going to need something up front.”
He grinned at her. He liked her better when she seemed like just a flighty twit.
“Think of it as a…” Her hands waved over her crossed legs. “Something you give someone as a promise before delivering the actual goods.”
“A good faith deposit?”
“No… That’s not it.”
Trey shook his head, chuckling to himself. “You really have him fooled.”
She blinked, eyes welling up with innocence. “I don’t know what you mean.”
“Uh-huh. What kind of deposit?”
“Well…”
Trey was willing to bet she was no virgin either and he was feeling less and less in the mood to play this game. “One kiss.”
“A real one,” she said immediately. “With those mmm mmm mmm noises like you do with Ash.”
“I can hear you, you know!” Ash’s disgruntled voice came from the other room.
“Done,” Trey said. He called over his shoulder, “I’m gonna kiss your sprite, uh, friend now.”
“Fine,” came the defeated reply, “Why don’t you feel her up while you’re at it? Make sure it’ll really be worth it.”
Violet looked like a cat who’d already caught and swallowed the canary. Her eyes flashed a mixture of the old clueless enthusiasm coupled with something Trey didn’t quite trust. “No cheating,” he warned. “We have a deal, whether you like the kiss or not.”
She grinned, nodding, and got up on her knees, moving to the edge of the couch.
Trey thought about insisting she at least brush her teeth first, but what the hell, it was just a deposit.
“With tongue,” she chirped just before their lips met.
“That’s what I said,” he growled and pressed his lips to hers. He went all out for the kiss. He bent her back over his arm and felt her smile. Then there was tongue, lots of tongue.
When he let her go and she collapsed back into the couch, the dazzled look from that first night on the vid screen had returned, as if the last day and a half never happened. “Twenty minutes,” he said. “Ash’ll be ready.”
Violet gave him a dazed smile. “Uh-huh.”
