What to do when you have too much on your mind?

You play SIMS.
I don’t know how many of you know about the simulation game The SIMS but I’ve been playing it on and off for a while. I tend to make gay couples and naming them after characters that Denise and I write about.
So I created two different sets of boys. Kane and Tristan and then, just for fun, I created a Kael and Tayln. Yes, I know… we have a thing for K’s and T’s. So sue us. Well, apparently when I started to play, the wrong boys fell in love with the wrong boys! I literally left the computer for 10 minutes to make lunch, came back and they’d all fallen in love. WTF. With the wrong boys!
I know.. I’m not making much sense, I’m aware that happens sometimes.
So while I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with Kane and Tayln making googly eyes at each other, it occurred to me that this is kind of a wonderful thing.
I don’t know how most other people write but I love to abandon all preconcived notions and see where the characters take me. This has often ended in some pretty bizzare situations. But it’s never ended up in the wrong boys falling in love with each other.
But of course, the night is still young.
